From among abu taubah’s teachers is the late Shaykh Muhammad Saalim ash-ShinQeeTi, the famous Imaam of Usool ul fiQh and tafseer; He also studied under Shaykh abu Bakr Djob alFulaani, and Shaykh Muhammad Ould-‘Eid ShinQeeTi both, while in Mauritania. He is also a long time student of Shaykh Muhammad FaarooQ And was taught the science of hadeeth by Shaykh Abdul-Mawjood of Egypt, a senior student of Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadee al-Wadi’ee. He is a HaafiDz of Qur-aan in all Ten Qiraa’at. And he specializes in Usoolul-FiQh, and tafseer.
Sheikh Abu taubah explains chapters 4.6j-4.6s of the classic Maliki text, ar-Risalah of ibn Abi Zaid al Qayrawaani. Topics include the actions of wudu such as wiping and washing, the nature of following the sunnah, the manners of the student of knowledge, modern-day sects, and the etiquettes of following a madhhab.
